RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENTS
You may make your booking through an appointed agent of Lindberg Holidays or directly with us. We recommend that you visit your professional travel agent, who can answer your questions and make your reservations.
A deposit payment of 25% will be required at least three months before the date of arrival to secure the booking and the balance is payable at least one month before the arrival date. Full cash payments attract some discounts. Please enquire from your agent.
CHANGES AND CANCELLATION
It is unlikely that the company will make any alterations to a booking that has been accepted by it, but sometimes circumstances change and alterations have to be made. The company reserves the right to make alterations to any product which may be offered by the company. In the event of full or part cancellation of the holiday the following charges will apply:
35-21 days prior to travel date 25 %
20-14 days prior to travel date 50%
13-3 days prior to travel date 75%
2-0 days prior to travel date 100%
RESERVATIONS
Accommodation : Lindberg Holidays reserves, wherever possible, rooms with private baths throughout on the basis of two persons sharing a double room. Single rooms are available at a supplementary cost, but we do not guarantee single rooms particularly for a request of more than two single rooms with private bath. Single rooms are scarce and cannot be guaranteed even where they have been booked and paid for. Where this occurs, an appropriate refund will be made to the client. Hotels/lodges/ camps, where mentioned, are named as an indication of a category and the company may reserve rooms at similar hotels/lodges/camps.
Transportation : Land Cruisers, safari minibuses, and cars will be provided according to the route and the number of participants. Unless otherwise indicated, window seats are guaranteed. Similarly no exclusive use of vehicle during transfers, sightseeing, game drives in the "inclusive ground packages". Lindberg Holidays reserves the right to subcontract transport with English-speaking driver guides.
Risks, Insurance & Liability : The hazards of travelling may inevitably give rise to some risks and dangers, those inherent in travel by boat, train, road, vehicles, aircraft or other means, the forces of nature, political unrest and accident or illness in remote areas without means of immediate evacuation or medical facilities. Lindberg Holidays does not undertake to arrange medical care and the company standard terms and conditions normally exclude liability for the adequacy of any care that may be provided. You are therefore most strongly advised to take adequate insurance against such risks on your own. Our staff or agent will be on hand to assist you with the information on services locally available.
Special Requests : Any special requests (e.g. for single room or particular room or diet) must be notified in writing when the booking is made. Whilst Lindberg Holidays will endeavor to meet such requests they cannot be guaranteed and any failure to comply will not be a breach of contract.
Complaints : We sincerely hope that you will not encounter any problems during your holiday. However should one arise please immediately advise any of the Lindberg Holidays staff of the service in question, as most of the problems can be resolved straightaway. Lindberg Holidays will regrettably not accept any complaint which is not notified in accordance with this clause
